Prop Fabrication and Scenic Painting

Portfolio Show Booth- I designed, fabricated, and painted the structures for my portfolio show as a final graduation requirement for my degree. Materials include: stick lumber, luan, joint compound, and latex paint.

Food Prop- T-Bone steak made out of high density foam and acrylic paint.

Marionette- Lydia and a sandworm plush from Beetlejuice

Tree Stump Prop- Made out of chicken wire, plywood, muslin, acrylic paint, and joint compound.

Venetian Mask- We cast our face then used a vacuum form machine to make a plastic mask from the mold. Accessories and paint were added to finish the look.

Project: Recreate Van Gogh’s Apples on a 3′ x 5′ canvas.

Project: Recreate a section of a famous painting. I chose Van Gogh’s Cafe Terrace at Night

Project: Take a vintage postcard, re-imagine the design, then paint it on a 3′ x 5′ canvas.
